First Flying Leason

So last Saturday we went flying to see the Tetons up close, Ben and Chris up front and Taylor and Me in the back. Taylor was getting cranky for some reason. I think it was because he couldn't see out the windows of the plane, I say this because once I got him out of the car seat (once it was safe and away from the Tetons of course) he stopped crying and started to look out the windows. After he was calmed down Chris wanted me to pass him up to (Uncle) Ben. So I did and Taylor automatically grabbed the yoke and started to eat it. Chris then made Taylor take the controls and Taylor was then flying the plane all by himself (with help from Chris of course). Needless to say I was a little nervous, but as soon as Taylor was back in his car seat I felt much better.

First time in Yellowstone

Yellowstone National Park

(lower falls in Yellowstone National Park)

This past week we went to Yellowstone National Park it was Chris, Ben and Taylor's first time ever to go. I know I know we live two hours away from Yellowstone and have lived here for 3 years (that is if you count the year before we got married) and Chris still hadn't gone. Well we finally went. Chris and Ben loved the mud pots I don't know why considering how stinky they are but hey to each his own.

Taylor loved Yellowstone except for the part where we were in the car for forever long. But when we where out he was just a happy boy. He even helped set up camp while it was raining. He is such a good sport.

(he finally smiled for the camera)
Some of the animals we saw where buffalo/bison, Elk, a bald eagle, a chipmunk (Chris and Ben really liked them because they had what they called mickey mouse ears), and a little bird that came and visited us before breakfast, we saw more but I can't remember all of them.

On our way out of Yellowstone we stopped and ate some lunch at a restaurant and Taylor ate his first french fries. He loved them and they ended up getting all over his chin.

While we where there we hit a mile marker well actually a 200,000 mile marker our Saturn made it to the 200,000 miles on the odometer.
